Meet Mel, Founder & Senior Speech Pathologist
Melissa Walsh is the Founder and Senior Speech Pathologist at Luna Speech. She brings international experience across paediatric, neurological and acute care settings to every assessment, therapy plan and conversation with families.
Her background includes intensive care, acute stroke, aged care and oncology. This depth of experience supports thoughtful, practical care for communication, language and swallowing needs across the lifespan.
Mel has a particular interest in supporting children with autism, language delays and complex communication needs. As an NDIS-experienced clinician, she works alongside clients, families, educators and support teams to create therapy that is clinically sound, engaging and meaningful in everyday life.

Meet Sarah
Sarah is a mobile Speech Pathologist supporting clients across Newcastle and the Central Coast.
She visits clients at their schools, daycare centres, preschools and homes, creating practical therapy opportunities in the places where communication happens every day.
Sarah is a dedicated and compassionate clinician with experience supporting children, adolescents and adults with speech, language, literacy and social communication needs. Her experience includes speech sound disorders, language and literacy challenges, autism and complex communication needs, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Sarah is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families. She believes therapy should be fun, engaging and tailored to each person’s interests and goals, helping people build communication skills and feel empowered to communicate.
